EXCLUSIVE | 15-Year Old Benue Girl Married Off to a ‘Sarkin Musulmi’ in Sokoto State [AUDIO]

SIGNAL on Wednesday obtained audio recordings linking the disappearance of a 15-year-old Benue girl Patience Paul to a certain ‘Sarkin Musulmi’ in Sokoto State.

Paul Isaac Adaji from Ohimini Local Government Area of Benue State had raised alarm over the forceful abduction of his 15-year old sister Patience by two neighbours named Monde and Suleiman and the Hisbah group in Gidan Kukah, Runjin Sambo area of Sokoto with the intention of converting her to Islam.

Patience has been reportedly missing since August 12, 2015.

The suspected abductors, when apprehended by the police reportedly admitted abducting the girl and taking her to the Sultan’s palace.

In the audio recording which detail phone conversations with sources privy to the details of her whereabouts, a group of men are speaking in a language identified as Hausa. According to the conversations with the unidentified men, the 15 year old girl has been married off to a ‘Sarkin Musulmi’ in Sokoto State.
