Arsenal Could Win the League – Gary Lineker

Former England striker Gary Lineker believes Arsenal are one of the favourites to win the league now after making a positive start to their season.

Arsenal recorded another impressive win today at Swansea, when they scored three second half goals to walk away with maximum points from the Liberty Stadium.

They kept pace with the league leaders Manchester City, who recorded a narrow home win over Norwich City, and both clubs are now level on 25 points each after eleven games.

Since losing to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the middle of September, Arsenal have won four on the bounce in the league and are one of the form teams of the Premier League at the moment.

With champions Chelsea struggling in the wrong end of the table, many feel it is a golden opportunity for Arsene Wenger’s men to win their first league title in over a decade and Lineker is one of those who believes this could be Arsenal’s season.
