PDP’s Senator Ben Murray Bruce has decried the violence and killings that rocked Bayelsa State in the past 48 hours over the rerun governorship election in Southern Ijaw Local Council and in 101 polling units across six other local councils of Bayelsa State.
In this interview conducted by Reports Afrique, Senator Murray-Bruce argues that there must be consequences for the wanton loss of lives in Bayelsa State. Senator Bruce also lamented the fact that Bayelsa State was witnessing bloodshed and violence because one particular candidate in the race loves violence. “Some people should be in a psychiatrist ward, not politics”, he said.
