The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), University of Jos chapter is proceeding on an indefinite strike action.
In a letter to the University’s Vice-Chancellor dated 22nd October, 2015, the Union disclosed that the National Executive Council of ASUU has approved their request to embark on a comprehensive and indefinite strike action.
According to the letter, “this implies that all academic activities including teaching, supervision, examination and all statutory and adhoc committee meetings are suspended forthwith until all the issues in contention are resolved.”
