CHAN 2016: Nigeria’s Super Eagles Trounce Niger 4 – 1

The Super Eagles of Nigeria beat Niger 4-1 to win their first Group C game of the ongoing African Nations Championship in Rwanda.

A second half goal by  Osas Okoro and a hat trick from Chisom Chikatara gave the Super Eagles home based players the win over their counterparts from Niger.

After a goalless first half, the Super Eagles took the lead in the 46th minute through Okoro.

Chikatara sealed victory by grabbing his treble. His first came in the 73th minute, before completing his hat trick with a goal in the 80th minute and another in the second minute of injury time.

Niger got their consolation goal in the 79th minute.
