It’s assurance season and in celebration of his wife’s birthday, Fredrick Nwabufo, media personality, wrote a poem to celebrate his wife.
The journalist has been married to Morayo Fashawe-Nwabufo for seven years.
In the poem, which is titled Morayo after his wife, he tells of how he found joy in her. Read the poem below:
What is in a name?
They say,
I disagree,
For your name holds truth,
It rings great meaning,
Perfect it is about you.
Morayo!
Means,
I have found joy,
And in truth,
In you, my joy abounds.
You pour joy abundantly,
From your charitable bosom,
Into my life,
Sadness, I know not,
For the joy you give has eclipsed it all.
Morayo! Morayo!
I will scream your name,
To let out the joy in my stomach,
I have found you,
I have found joy.
