The state Police Public Relation Officer, Moses Yamu, confirmed the killings and said another mobile policeman who sustained gunshot wound is receiving treatment at the Benue State University Hospital in Makurdi.

According to Yamu, the mobile policemen were members of a special security force deployed to Logo LGA following the herdsmen killings in the area.
