The Defence Headquarters, Abuja, is currently parading 15 suspects for their direct involvement in the planning and murder of a former Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh.
The Chairman of the Joint Investigation Committee, Maj Gen Bamidele Shaffa, in Abuja said before the parade that five out of 20 suspects were still at large.
He said, “We are parading high-profile suspects involved in the gruesome murder of the late Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh.
“Our findings are; one, the attack and killing of Badeh was criminal and does not have any political undertone. Twenty persons were involved in the attack out of which 15 have been arrested. The services and agencies are still on the trail of the suspects.
“The suspects have confessed to their direct involvement in the crimes.”
