‘No Mask, No Movement’: Cross River Enforces Compliance

In line with the commitment and directives of the Cross River Governor, Ben Ayade, to ensure that the state remain Coronavirus free, the Cross River State Development Control Agency continue it’s visit of number of sites to enforce the compliance of ” no masks, no movement” in the state capital.

Director General of the Agency, Engineer. Oxford Egbe, who carried the inspection of some sites with the Director of operations Mr John Jude Agim and other Directors of the Agency accompanied by the Commissioner for Land, Prof. John Inyang as well as the Secretary of Land Used, in Calabar, Thursday, said that the visit was in compliance with His Excellency directives.

The Agency DG used the visit to admonish site workers to wear masks while at the sites or face the possibility of being sent back to their houses.

Engineer Oxford Egbe also use the opportunity to called on alottees of Government layouts to pay the prescribed land fees or stand the risk of forfeiting them.

The team equally use the visit and carried carry out sensitization campaign for the workers on the need to imbibe decent hygiene behaviours to prevent covid-19.
