Obama Spotted on Holiday With Sir Richard Branson

As America and the world debates Donald Trump’s controversial executive orders, Barack Obama is enjoying some much-needed fun in the sun.

TMZ reporters have spotted the former president enjoying himself in the British Virgin Islands, and have managed to capture photographs and footage of him on his travels.

He has spent some time in the company of Richard Branson and appears to enjoy being able to wear casual clothes, sporting a backwards baseball cap and flip-flops.

Social media users have joked that Barack Obama won’t return to politics because he appears to be having such a relaxed time abroad.

Michelle Obama has also been seen out and about with her husband, wearing a straw hat and shorts.

Barack Obama waved to the camera as he strolled with his wife.

The former president hasn’t been completely silent during his holiday time, however.

He spoke out after Donald Trump’s executive order  barring the travel of people from seven different countries, stating that he supports mass protests against the “extreme vetting” orders.

“The President fundamentally disagrees with the notion of discriminating against individuals because of their faith or religion,” Mr Obama’s spokesman said in a statement that was the former president’s first since leaving office.

“Citizens exercising their Constitutional rights to assemble, organise and have their voices heard by their elected officials is exactly what we expect to see when American values are at stake.”
