Prince Charles Honours Nigeria’s Fallen Heroes

The Prince of Wales, Charles, has performed the laying of the wreath at the National Cemetery in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

The ceremony which held on Thursday was in remembrance of the nation’s servicemen who died in the first and second World Wars.

It had in attendance the Minister of Defence, Brigadier General Mansur Dan-Ali, as well as the service chiefs and top military officers in the country.

Since his arrival on Tuesday, Prince Charles has engaged in numerous activities both in Abuja and Lagos, in continuation of their three-day visit to Nigeria.

While in Lagos on Wednesday, he was at the Naval Dock Yard in Victoria Island, where he was honoured by the Nigerian Navy.

Prince Charles also met with the business and art communities in the South-western state.
