As we prepare for the 2019 general elections, there’s a lot of optimism and engagement that young people are already putting to participate in the process. But when it comes to the topic of really reforming our country in the long term, the questions that come up are, What will Nigeria look like in 30 years time? How does our political engagement as a generation affect the Nigeria we will live in?
Jude Feranmi, JFK, a vibrant young Nigerian Politician who currently serves as the National Youth Leader of Kowa Party, Nigeria’s most Youth inclusive party has written a book titled “The Pragmatics of Real Change” seeks to start a conversation about the practicalities of Youths involvement in Nigerian Politics.
The book also examines the role of Young Nigerians in Nation building and gives practical ideas on how to effectively engage the Political Space.
A book reading session will be holding at Ventures Park to deepen this conversation and spur attendees into action. The hope is that those who attend will leave with a resolve to take their aspirations of a new Nigeria beyond wishes and identify steps they can start taking from Sunday.
The Book Reading is scheduled as follows:
Date: Saturday 5th May, 2018
Time: 4:30pm prompt
Venue: Ventures Park, 29, Mambila Street, off Aso Drive, Abuja.
Copies of the book will be available for sale at N2500 only.
