In a move that the NFF (Nigeria Football Federation) would despise, Sunday Oliseh, the former Super Eagles boss, will be a pundit for Nigeria’s football team group games at the Rio 2016 Olympics starting this August.
Oliseh, who is on the FIFA technical study group for Rio 2016, has been assigned to analyse Nigeria Olympic team’s matches against Japan and Colombia in Brazil.
Nigeria face Japan in their opening game in Rio 2016 on Friday in Manaus, while their match against Colombia will be their last group game.
The Olympic Eagles, who have been training in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, for the past one month, will square up against Colombia on August 10 in Sao Paulo. Oliseh was Nigeria’s Super Eagles coach between July 2015 and February 2016.
“It’s always a delight to serve FIFA as a Nigerian and I can’t wait for the Games to start in Manaus” Oliseh said.
