The Nigerian News Celebrates Anniversary, Canvases Support for President Buhari

The former Minister of State, Niger Delta, Hon. Sam Ode mni has called on Nigerians never to flinch their support for the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari in charting the way forward for the country.

Describing him as a leader who places public good and Nigeria foremost as such, ” we are obligated to give him every support to succeed in completely regenerating Nigeria in all spheres” he said.

Ode made the call during a celebration to mark the third Anniversary of TheNigerian News which also featured Public Presentation/launching of a book on President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, titled “Integrity Versus Power play: Understanding the Buhari Phenomenon, as well as presentation of awards to some selected personalities into TheNigerian News ‘Hall of Fame’.

According to him, the book which is inspiring and elucidative is a replay of the concealed, but very essential ingredients of the life of Mr. President which dwells deeply on salient angles which have consistently depicted President Buhari as an iconic leader With looming shadows on the landscape of Nigeria’s public service and leadership. A 5-star Democrat.

Sam, who was the Chief Host at the event in his speech said, ” What we have attempted to do at TheNigerian News in the past three years is to bridge the apparent 8111f by propagating the positive aspects of our live through the developmental journalism model.

This has often been neglected or even undermined by other media platforms. At TheNigerian, we are driven by patriotism and love for our country as our guiding principle.

I must say, the journey so far has been steady and progressive. We have ensured improvement in our service delivery in the global media market where there are observable lapses. This is not to say, we have touched the skyline of perfection yet, as change, innovations and improvements are indispensable dosages of every day existence.

We must admit that coming this far is enable by your steadfast and
dependable support. Thus far, we appreciate everyone of you seated in this hall for the absolute support and assistance to us in countless ways.

Many friends and partners obviously could not make it here today not because they don’t love what we are doing at TheNigerian. We also appreciate their sincere words of solidarity” he stressed.

Furthermore, he congratulated the awardees for their leadership excellence, urging them never to relent in the pursuit of public good, but continue to do more in their respective capacities for their beloved country, Nigeria.
