‘You Can’t Break Me’, Bobrisky Reacts to Police Invasion of His Birthday Party
Controversial Lagos cross-dresser has reacted to the invasion of his birthday party on Saturday by at least 100 Nigerian policemen.
Taking to his SnapChat, Bobrisky wrote that they can’t break him as he is harder than a rock.
Bobrisky had put up a party in celebration of his 28th birthday, but it was disrupted by the Nigeria Police, who invaded the place and dispersed guests.
The Lagos socialite who recently revealed that he has cut off his penis left the event centre before the police stormed the place.
Nigerians have widely condemned the development on social media:
Bobrisky actually put in a lot of effort into planning this day and I feel very sad about what happened, especially because it’s his birthday.

I live in a “country” where the “police” let men who rape 2 year olds pay four figures and walk out the same day, but Bobrisky (a trans woman who legally isn’t even breaking any laws) gets ambushed and arrested on her birthday. That’s my reality. What’s yours? pic.twitter.com/THS9YFUMs8

Nigeria will always be a joke. While motorists including students, legislators, judges and police themselves are being kidnapped, the force decided that the best use of FIFTY police officers today was to close down Bobrisky’s birthday party. https://t.co/27r0ZZPEJv

Whatever issues she has, I absolutely love Bobrisky. She is a mirror in your hypocritical Nigerian faces, ably appropriating your filthy hustle, successfully. Unapologetically. Boldly. She is your fear embodied. Your contradiction personified. Wild and free. You hate to see it.

I have often said that we are one of the most discriminatory nations on earth. Today alone, it was the arrest of 123 “Okada riders from the north”, the people dismissing traditional medicine practitioners, and now we are deploying 100 police officers because of Bobrisky.

Sad that they didn’t let Bobrisky have the party she was so excited about. It’s such a simple thing. A birthday party. It’s not fair. Vilified for such a mundane, everyday joyous thing. Criminalized for existing. Why should people live like that?

Nigeria is so finished. Deployed a whole 50 men to shut down Bobriskys party. For them to convict and arrest rapist it’s too much work but it’s Bobrisky they are chasing. Sigh. Nonsense everyday
