SCANDAL | Is this the Voice of Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala? [AUDIO]

A scandalous shocking video containing a voice recording purportedly of former World Bank Managing Director and ex-Nigerian Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has surfaced in the Nigerian social media.

In the 5-minute YouTube video, the voice of Okonjo-Iweala is heard making a mockery of her former boss, President Goodluck Jonathan, defending the policies and leadership style of President Muhammadu Buhari and calling on Nigerians to be patient with their new President as he was taking the right steps towards fixing Nigeria’s ailing economy.

In what appeared like a denial on Tuesday, the former Coordinating Minister of Nigeria’s Economy tweeted that it was another ploy to soil her name. “This shows the extent certain persons can go to sully my name. I keep wondering what they hope to gain by…”, she said.

Curiously, the voice in the recording bares a striking similarity with that of the former World Bank czar. In another twist, Okonjo-Iweala’s ‘denial tweet’ on Tuesday leaves a lot to be desired. “Look very well at what is happening. If you ask me, that’s her voice. And come to think of it, did she really deny it? She didn’t say it’s not her voice. Read her tweet well. She only tweeted that people want to soil her name, whatever that means”, an in-house political analyst told SIGNAL.

In April 2016, Okonjo-Iweala was widely reported by the Nigerian media claiming she had indicted her former boss, President Jonathan over a comment ascribed to her stating how the lack of political will negatively impacted national savings over the past few years under President Jonathan. She denied the reports, noting that her comments had been distorted by the media.

Efforts to reach the former Minister who now sits as Chairman of the board of Gavi in Washington DC, proved abortive at the time of filing this report.

The recorder of this Scandalous voice is Maggot-brained!!! Sometimes I am perplexed at this miscreant’s reasoning- most especially the so-called uneducated literates. Sorry, exclude Madam Okonjo from this your imbecile Voice Impersonation. As a matter of fact, this method is TOOOOOOOOO BASE, far below Iweala’s Personality. I am grossly disappointed at the sponsors of this GUTTER as well as those who believe it.
