After Weeks in Detention, EFCC to Finally Arraign Fani-Kayode on Tuesday

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) will on Tuesday, June 21 arraign former Aviation Minister and spokesman for the Goodluck Jonathan Campaign Organisation, Femi Fani-Kayode in court, reports Channels.

He is to be arraigned over an alleged N1.5 billion fraud.

He will be arraigned before Justice Sule Hassan of the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos.

Fani Kayode was earlier scheduled to appear before the court on Friday, June 17.

The date, was, however, shifted due to the busy schedule of the court and the EFCC.

The defendant will appear on 17 counts bordering on money laundering and fraud over his alleged sharing of N4 billion being monies from the presidential campaign fund of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
