Ex-Interior Minister Abba Moro to be Arraigned Monday

Former Interior Minister, Abba Moro will Monday, 29 February be docked on an 11-count charge before Justice Chikere of the Federal High Court, Abuja, PM News has reported.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission last Monday arrested Moro and two others over the tragic Nigerian Immigration recruitment in 2014.

The other two persons arrested by EFCC were former Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Anaesthesia Nwaobia, and a deputy director who allegedly facilitated the scam.

At least 20 job applicants lost their lives during the recruitment stampedes at various stadia across the country.

Some of the charges against Moro and his colleagues include obtaining by false pretence, procurement offences, corrupt practices and money laundering.
