The two leaders held a closed-door meeting during which they discussed issues of mutual interest concerning the party.

According to a statement from the NDC, both leaders reaffirmed their unwavering resolve to stand together in the defence and promotion of multi-party democracy in Nigeria.

Senator Dickson also briefed Senator Kwankwaso on the various measures being implemented by the party to address and redress the distractions arising from the recent ruling of the Federal High Court, which the party described as anomalous.
