The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir David Lawal, disclosed this today shortly before the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting which was presided over by Acting President Yemi Osinbajo.

President Muhammadu Buhari is currently on a 10-day vacation in London where he is expected to treat his persistent ear infection.

The ailing ministers are Aisha Alhassan (Women Affairs), Adamu Adamu (Education) and Ibrahim Usman Jubrin (State for Environment).

When called upon to say the opening prayer for the FEC meeting, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation prayed for Buhari’s quick recovery.

The SGF disclosed that Alhassan had been operated on and was currently recuperating in the United States of America (USA).

He said Adamu Adamu was said to be suffering from back pain and could not attend the FEC meeting.

The SGF also prayed for the Minister of State for Environment, Jubrin, who was said to be suffering from an undisclosed ailment.
