Governor Wike Appoints Joseph Yobo SA On Sports Development

The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has appointed former Super Eagles Captain, Joseph Yobo, as Senior Special Assistant on Sports Development to the governor.

The governor also appointed Chibuzor Aholu as Senior Special Assistant to the governor on financial matters.

A statement by Simeon Nwakaudu, Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor on Electronic Media, said the appointments take immediate effect.

Yobo is Nigeria’s record title appearance, with 101 caps.
