Some supporters of ailing President Muhammadu Buhari have taken to Twitter to mock Ekiti State governor Ayo Fayose after a photograph of President Buhari dining with APC governors and leaders in London surfaced yesterday in the Nigerian social media.
Fayose had alleged that President Buhari was on life-support and threatened to release eleven damaging photos of the President’s health.
The new photo shows President Buhari seated at the head of a table filled with assorted food, fruits and drinks and flanked by the visiting APC leaders.
Earlier, a WhatsApp broadcast had circulated claiming Fayose boasted he would commit suicide if President Buhari returned to Nigeria alive. The governor, through a statement by his media aide Lere Olayinka denied making any such statement.
