Suicide Bomber Kills 22 People at Borno Mosque

A suicide bomber killed 22 people attending morning prayers at a mosque in north-eastern Borno state on Wednesday.

The bombing occurred at Molai-Umarari village on the outskirts of the state capital, Maiduguri, Hassan Ibrahim, a member of a youth vigilante group, said by phone.

“We have our men here with soldiers and emergency workers who are working to get the dead and injured to the hospital,” Ibrahim said.
