Governor Yahaya Bello Urges Prayers for Nigeria

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has called on religious leaders to intensify prayers for peace, security, unity and progress of Nigeria.

Bello who was represented by his deputy, Elder Simon Achuba made the call on Thursday when he received the General Overseer of the Greater Liberation City Worldwide, Dr Chris Okafor and his pastoral team who were in the state for a four-day crusade.

He enjoined the visiting men of God and the participants at the crusade to pray more for the unity of the country, stating that the greatness of a nation and the people cannot be without the help of God.

He assured the team of adequate security and conducive environment as the church commenced  it’s crusade in the state.

Earlier, the General Overseer of the Greater Liberation City Worldwide, Dr Chris Okafor said they were in the state as part of God’s mandate to them to go from nation to cities and reach a billion souls about the word of God, set the people free and depopulate the kingdom of darkness.

He assured Nigerians that better things were ahead of them, urging them to be patient and believe in God for all things.

The overseer said the hands of God is on Kogi state, enjoining the people to work with the government to achieve God’s purpose for the state.

He said at the end of the four days crusade in the state, there will be opened doors of opportunities, favour and overflow of God’s blessings in the state.
