NATIONAL EMBARRASSMENT | Nigeria’s 2016 Budget Reported Missing At National Assembly

The 2016 budget proposal submitted to the National Assembly by President Muhammadu Buhari is missing, Daily Trust reports.

Buhari had on 22nd, December, 2015 presented the budget proposal to the joint session of the National Assembly.

The disappearance of the budget document was announced during a closed door session that last 90 minutes. This is coming week after news of the withdrawal of the budget filtered round.  Senators told our correspondent that the disappearance of the budget was announced by the Senate Leader Ali Ndume during the closed door session. The Senators were supposed to commence the consideration of the N6.08tr budget today.
