UPDATED
Contrary to news reports on Tuesday that the former minister of State for Defence and a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Musliu Obanikoro, has defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Obanikoro has said he did not decamp to the APC.
News reports on Tuesday said Obanikoro announced his defection at a press Conference in Lagos.
Obanikoro told SIGNAL on Tuesday the reports were completely false as he has not decamped to APC and was still a member of the opposition PDP.
