Oliseh is Getting Better and in Touch With His Players – Pinnick

President of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF Amaju Pinnick, has assured there is nothing to worry about on the health of Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh.

Oliseh has been down with a viral infection and did not join the Eagles training camp in Abuja ahead of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Rwanda, but Pinnick has maintained there is no cause for alarm.

The Nigeria Football Federation’s official Twitter handle quoted Pinnick on Thursday as giving an assurance on the former  Nigeria captain’s full recovery.

“He is getting better. Any human being can break down. I speak to the doctors and we are confident he will be back on his feet soon,” Pinnick said.

And ahead of next year’s 2018 World Cup and 2017 Cup of Nations qualifiers, the NFF boss stated that Oliseh has been keeping tabs on Nigerian players in their various clubs.

“Oliseh is in touch with every good Nigerian player everywhere. We are working to ensure we qualify for 2017 AFCON as well’, he said.
