EFCC Storms Abuja Residence of Ex-PDP Chairman, Adamu Mu’azu

The Abuja home of former national Chairman of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Adamu Mu’azu has been reportedly invaded and occupied by heavily armed operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

According to an eyewitness, Mu’azu’s Abuja home was ransacked by the operatives of the anti-graft commission. One of his wives was seen fleeing from the house, one other wives had just left the mansion just before the EFCC operatives arrived.

Mu’azu is reportedly one of those indicted the the $2.1 billion arms procurement fund by former national security adviser, Colonel Sambo Dasuki (rtd).

A dominant topic among PDP members is the alleged betrayal of former President Goodluck Jonathan during the 2015 elections. “We know he was working against Jonathan and our party,” a top PDP official told The Trent. “It is not a rumour. We know it as a fact.”

Mu’azu, who is said to be “hiding out in Dubai”, was forced to resign his position as PDP National Chairman soon after Jonathan lost the 2015 elections.
