The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, arrested popular Nigerian Musician, Naira Marley and ‘Zanku’ crooner Omomniyi Temidayo popularly Zlatan Ibile to profile them in order to establish their affiliations with internet fraudsters popularly called ‘yahoo yahoo’.
A top source at the EFCC who spoke to SaharaReporters exclusively said, the graft agency as seized their laptops and phones to conduct forensics to determine their link to cybercrime.
The duo were arrested at Zlatan’s house in the early hours of Friday
The source added that of the two artistes are also under the agency’s investigation for songs and comments glorifying cybercrime; most recently “am i a yahoo boy?” released on Thursday.
