Today, Billboard released their year-end lists, highlighting the artists, albums, and songs that performed exceptionally well on the magazine’s many charts in 2015. There aren’t many surprises, as to come out on top after an entire year, one needs to be particularly popular.
It shouldn’t surprise anybody that Taylor is on top of many of Billboard’s end of year categories, seeing as how she pretty much lived within the upper reaches of the charts this year. Her album 1989 was the best-selling album of 2014, and it almost repeated the feat in 2015, but then along came a certain British singer-songwriter. She seemed to be everywhere, and like it or not, you heard quite a bit of that album, even if you weren’t trying to.
