BREAKING | ‘Highly Placed Politicians’ Used Daura, IGP Writes Osinbajo

Some highly placed Nigerian politicians have been fingered by the Nigerian Police in Tuesday’s attack on the National Assembly by operatives of the Department of State Security Services (DSS).

In a five-page letter on Thursday addressed to Acting President Yemi Osinbajo by the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, the Nigerian Police concluded in its investigative report; “It is crystal clear that the Principal suspect Lawal Musa Daura may be acting the script of some highly placed politicians to achieve selfish political goals, hence his unilateral and unlawful decision to invade the National Assembly Complex.”

More to come…
