Critics of Buhari’s Foreign Trips Are Ignorant, Mischievous – APC

The South East Zonal Spokesman of the All Progressives Congress, Osita Okechukwu has said critics of President Muhammadu Buhari’s Foriegn travels were either ignorant or mischievous, Punch reports.

Okechukwu said this in a telephone interview with our correspondent in Abuja, on Wednesday.

He explained that contrary to what some critics would have Nigerians believe, Mr. President is harvesting the goodwill his election attracted to Nigeria. “This is the reason for his foreign travels,” he said.

Okechukwu noted that irrespective of political affiliation, ethnic and religious bias, most Nigerians agree that the high price of crude oil in the international market which used to be our goose that lays the golden egg is no longer there.

He observed that the problem was further compounded by the fact that the Excess  Crude Account and the Sovereign Wealth Fund have been depleted.
