AGRIC | Governor Udom Creates 10,000 Jobs for Akwa-Ibom Youths

In line with his avowed promise to tackle unemployment, the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel has said that 10, 000 youths in the state are to be employed in the agricultural sector of the state.

The youths, he said, will be engaged in various job openings in the agricultural sector to sustain the agricultural revolution soon to be witnessed in the state.

The governor made the cheering news at an meeting with leaders of major socio-cultural organizations who paid him a solidarity visit in Government House, Uyo.

He said his administration is committed to laying a solid economic foundation for the future through industrialization and that for a take-off, ten modernized Cassava processing Plant would be established across the state.
