Former Environment Minister, John Odey is Dead

The former minister of environment, Chief John Ogar Odey is dead.

He died in in the early hours of Sunday in a Dubai hospital where he is receiving treatment on a cancer related illness.

He was a former minister of information and a former national publicity secretary of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He was also a one time Cross River State commissioner for agriculture and former state treasurer of the PDP.
