The Chairman of the South East Governors forum; Engr. Dave Umahi, has announced that there is stronger unity in the South East ahead of the 2019 Presidential Election. Dave Umahi who has been subject of media propaganda has come out to clear the air in the presence of all South East PDP Governors (Enugu, Abia, Ebonyi), the senate president; Dr. Bukola Saraki, the deputy senate president; Ike Ekweremmadu, the former Deputy Senate President; Anyim Pius Anyim, the PDP National Chairman; Chief Uche Secondus, the PDP Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates; Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Mr. Peter Obi.
In his speech, the Governor acknowledged that from time to time, brothers have misunderstanding and they still make up and grow stronger in love. As such, the media must be responsible in its reporting of discord among brothers, since they always make up. The former Senate President; Anyim Pius Anyim supported the Ebonyi state governor by telling everyone present to vote PDP. It must be noted that above all of the speculations of discord in the South East, every PDP stakeholder of South East Extraction was present.
