The ongoing orientation for the National Youth Service has been cut short by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The minister, Mr Sunday Dare says this is part of the Federal Government’s precautionary measure against the spread of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).

The orientation programme started on March 10 and was supposed to end on March 30.

All corps members are to be paid and sent to their places of primary assignment.

The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim, is expected to give more details.
