PIC.18. FROM LEFT. ZAMFARA STATE GOVERNOR, ABUBAKAR YARI; GOV. ABDULFATAI AHMED OF KWARA STATE AND GOV. IFEANYI OKOWA OF DELTA, AT THE NATIONAL ECONOMIC COUNCIL MEETING IN ABUJA ON THURSDAY(19/11/15). 7282/19/11/2015/ISE/CH/NAN

The Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum, Abdulaziz Yari, said the forum would resolve all pending court cases on the Paris Club refund.

Yari said this while speaking with State House correspondents at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Some consultants were said to have dragged the forum to court over their commission.

The governor said, “It (litigation) is because there is money involved, when there was no money nobody took us to court.

“So, now that the money is there, some are saying that they have been either short-changed or are not being paid accordingly.
