Plateau – How Tallen ,Komsol worked against President elect Bola Tinubu’s Victory at the Polls – APC Group

  • “Urge Tinubu to reject Komsol’s Congratulatory message”
  • Pass vote of no confidence on Tallen, Komsol

Group operating under the aegis of Concerned APC Youths in Shendam local government of Plateau state has accused the Minister of Women affairs Dame Pauline Kedem Tallen and Hon. Komsol Alphonsus Longgap, the Federal lawmaker representing Shendam, Qua’an-Pan and Mikang Federal constituency of colluding with the Candidates of other political parties to frustrate APC candidates and work against the APC in the forthcoming governorship polls .

They further alleged that both Tallen and Komsol worked against the Presidential Candidate of the APC now President elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu in last Saturday’s election.

Addressing newsmen in Jos on Thursday ,the leader of the group Robert Hoomsuk , called on the President elect Bola Tinubu to reject the Congratulatory messages coming from Hon Komsol as reported in some online reports .

” They never want him (Tinubu) to emerge winner ,we call on the President elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu to be wary of this two politicans as they are working against the interest of APC in the state .”

According to the group ” Our finding reveals that both the Minster of women affairs ,and Hon Komsol worked with “elements” in the Labour party for the Presidential Candidate of the Party Peter Obi in last Saturday’s election and are planning to do so again in the forthcoming governorship polls.

” We feel very disturbed that the same Lawmaker Hon Komsol , who was given the opportunity to represent our Zone under our party, has been engaged in a number of anti-party activities, thereby undermining efforts being put in place by party members to win the 2023 election.

Also it’s sad that the Minster of Women affairs who is serving under the APC would work against the party in the state by even sharing materials to her followers and asking them to vote an opposition party ,how wicked can that be ,they stressed.

“Since losing the primary election, Rep Komsol has stayed away from every activity geared towards mobilizing support for the party to win all elective positions, instead, he has verbally directed his followers to work for candidates of other political parties in the State.

“We call on the President elect to be careful with this two stakeholders who are working against the APC in Plateau state .”

” We have it on good authority that they are romancing with the opposition party in Plateau to ensure that APC loses all elections “.

“We are surprised at the attitude of both Pauline Tallen and Hon Komsol ,why would they be working against the party that sponsored them. .”

“We hereby call on the leadership of the APC to call Hon Komsol and the Minster of women affairs Tallen to order in order to retrace their steps immediately .

The group further added that Rep Komsol has also distanced himself from all activities of the party geared towards galvanising support for the party’s candidates in the forthcoming governorship polls ,

He doesn’t attend party meetings called by the leadership of the party at the State and Zonal levels; absconded from the local governments consultative tour in the zone and even his local government .

“For example, We gathered that the Rep member Komsol has vowed to work against the Governorship Candidate of the Party in the forthcoming general polls and this is frustrating the efforts of party loyalists.

“Secondly, the Rep member Komsol is in secret alliance with the opposition party and has also given verbal instructions to his followers to support the Governorship Candidate of the PDP in Plateau State as he did for the Federal house of representatives seat election .

The group said even though they are not worried about his anti party activities, “our decision to speak out is merely to put you on notice and for possible sanctions to be meted out in line with the constitution of the APC.

The group also passed a vote of no confidence on Hon Komsol and Paul Tallen.
