After rescuing two people and retrieving two dead bodies from the Lagos Lagoon, the Nigerian Police has rescued yet another man attempting to end his own life in the lagoon, The Sun reports.
Security operatives, on Sunday, March 27, reportedly rescued an elderly man who was about to plunge into the Lagos lagoon hoping to put an end to his own life. The senior citizen was rescued before he could plunge himself into the lagoon.
This is the third person to be rescued from jumping into the lagoon in the last one week, two other dead bodies, including that of Doctor Allwell Orji, who jumped in on Sunday, March 19, were recovered.
