“Tinubu Is Next To God In My Life” – David Umahi

Minister of Works, David Umahi, has declared that his loyalty lies with God first and then President Bola Tinubu.

He made this statement while speaking with journalists in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, in response to the president’s recent commendation of his work in infrastructure development.

Umahi valued the commendation at “more than one trillion dollars,” seeing it as validation of his efforts and a sign that God answers prayers.

Umahi stated, “My loyalty is to God first and then to him. When a man gives you the type of trust Tinubu has given me, you will be of the devil to betray him.”

He highlighted a N1.6 trillion project under his supervision, noting that President Tinubu’s trust in him was evident in the fact that he wasn’t questioned about the project’s handling.

Umahi warned that betraying President Tinubu’s trust would invite divine wrath, praying daily that God wouldn’t answer him if he prioritized himself, family, or friends over God, Tinubu, and Nigerians.

Umahi expects contractors to complete about 30 mega projects by December 20, which President Tinubu will inaugurate. These projects span across Nigeria’s six geo-political zones, with Umahi involved in their construction and inspection.

Umahi concluded by dedicating the president’s commendation to those who pray for his success in serving the people and vowed to continue praying for President Tinubu and his supporters.
