As part of the growing voices and groups calling and wooing support for President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo re-election as Nigeria President and Vice-President come 2019, a group Fulani Muhammadu Buhari supporters has passed a vote of confidence on President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, saying he deserves a second term.
Malam Suleiman Abubakar, the Nasarawa State chairman of the organisation, accompanied by the National Secretary of the group, Malam Abdullahi Mohammed Jika when the group paid a curtesy visit to Senator Abdullahi Adamu in Keffi said that Buhari’s laudable projects had direct bearing on the lives of Nigerians.
He also drummed support for Buhari’s re-election bid, explaining that their support was based on the president’s numerous achievements in the areas of security, corruption, agriculture and economy, among others.
“Buhari has done a lot and is still doing his best; he deserves second term to enable him continue with the good works he has being doing for Nigerians.
“President Buhari had done well and is still doing well, we will continue to mobilise and drum support for his re-election bid in the interest of development.
Senator Abdullahi Adamu in his response expressed great surprise at the level of the Fulani Muhammadu Buhari Supporters’ structural organization and commitment to the good of the entire nation.
The Senator encourages them to continue in educating their people as they have commenced so to make them more active in political exercises.
“All Nigerians should support President Buhari’s ambition for the good of the present and future generations. He has the mind of moving this country forward. Our President thinks of nothing but this country”.
“I am calling on all to support him, so that he will complete the good projects he has started.
He also called on Nigerians to offer special prayers for peace, unity and violence-free general elections in 2019 in order to elect God-fearing leaders.
The group is scheduled to have their convention on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Keffi, Nasarawa State
