People in Miami enjoyed a rare treat this week as Drake showed off his generosity while in town filming a new music video.
The Canadian rapper was in the Sunshine State filming the video for his new song God’s Plan, but managed to put some time aside to give a little something back.
The One Dance singer first made a surprise visit to Miami Senior High School to shoot parts of the new video.
While he was there, he donated $25,000 and promised the students he would provide uniforms designed by his fashion label October’s Very Own, also known as OVO.
He then went on to the University of Miami and surprised student Destiny James with a $50,000 scholarship.

The university tweeted: “Congratulations Destiny! We are proud of your hard work and look forward to seeing you continue to pursue your academic dreams. Thank you for your generosity @Drake #umiami.”
Students sang along with the star as he gave a mini performance on the terrace at the student centre, with the university newspaper tweeting a video.

But he didn’t stop there.
During a stop-off at Sabor Tropical Supermarket, he also paid the shopping bills of everyone inside.
