Mesut Ozil is out of his Arsenal contract in June and several top European clubs are being linked with signing the Germany International as a free agent at the end of the season.
Serie A giants Inter and Barcelona are among the clubs interested in welcoming the services of the Germany star although Inter executives have already revealed that they do not believe a player like Ozil will leave Arsenal in the winter transfer window.
The player’s agent, however, has important news for Arsenal fans although the words of the representative of Ozil do not exclude a possible move to Manchester United, one more club interested in the 29-year-old.
“Mesut is glad to hear of Besiktas being interested in him, however, no proposal has reached us”, Erkut Sogut told Fanatik, as quoted by Goal.com
“Even if that did happen, he wants to play in the Premier League for at least two to three more years. Our contact with Arsenal continues and we are moving in a positive direction.”
