N2.5 Billion Fraud: Abuja High Court Summons Lai Mohammed

A federal high court in Abuja has summoned former Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, to appear before it over an alleged N2.5 billion fraud case involving the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).

The Independent Corrupt Practice and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC)  is currently prosecuting Ishaq Modibbo Kawu, the NBC director-general, over “abuse of office and money laundering”.
