National Assembly Staff Stabbed to Death by Okada Riders in Kubwa [PHOTOS]

Murder was the case on Thursday in Kubwa when a National Assembly staff named Suleiman Bello was repeatedly stabbed by an angry motorcyclist.

Mr Bello who drove a Toyota Camry got into an argument at the Byazhin Junction with a motorcyclist popularly called Okada.

Mr Bello who in the heat of the argument was trying to dodge another Okada who was on a wrong lane rammed his vehicle into a pick up van packed by the roadside.

An eyewitness who did not want to be named confirmed to SIGNAL, that the unconscious Bello was still in the vehicle gasping for air when the Okada man whom he thought was trying to help Mr Bello out, brought out a dagger and started stabbing him.

The eyewitness further stated that other Okada riders who were not privy to what happened, joined up, pulled Mr Bello out and continued stabbing.

The Okada riders, when they discovered people were making effort to reach the police, jumped on their machines and took to their heels.

Mr Bello was left lifeless as onlookers deserted the area in fear.

Attempt were made to reach the police who finally arrived an hour later, carried Mr Bello with his dangling intestine into their van and took off to the hospital.
