New Ooni of Ife Handed Staff of Office

The new Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ojaja II

The new Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ojaja II was on Monday presented with his staff of office by Osun State Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, at a colourful coronation ceremony in Ile Ife, Osun State.

The event was attended by dignitaries from all walks of life including the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, the host governor, Rauf Argbesola, Lagos governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, his Oyo State counterpart, Abiola Ajimobi, the All Progressive Congress National Leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the party’s former National Chairman, Chief, Bisi Akande and the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar III.

Also at the coronation ceremony were former Minister of Defence, Theophilus Danjuma, Chief Olagunsoye Oyinlola, National Leader of the Odu’a Peoples Congress (OPC), Chief Gani Adams, ex-Oyo State governor, Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala, captains of industry, politicians and traditional and religious leaders.
