Media personality, Ohimai Godwin Amaize has bagged the ‘Breakout TV Presenter of the Year’ at the 3rd DAAR Awards held at the International Conference center, Abuja on Saturday January 19, 2019.
The award which was attended by political heavyweights, business tycoons, celebrities and media personalities witnessed a night of music, comedy and fanfare.
Receiving the award, Amaize thanked God for gifting him with the talents and abilities for his new passion as a broadcaster. He equally gave special thanks to the founder and Chairman Emeritus of DAAR Communications Plc, High Chief Raymond Aleogho Dokpesi for giving him the opportunity and platform to be a TV presenter at the Africa Independent Television (AIT).
Amaize also gave special accolades to his wife, Tessy Oliseh-Amaize, a UK-trained fashion designer who designs his clothes.
Amaize made his debut as a TV presenter in August 2018. He is the presenter of the popular and influential Kakaaki Social on AIT.
