Fortuna Sittard clawed back from a two-goal deficit to run riot in a 5-2 battering of Jong Ajax at the Offermans Joosten Stadium on Monday evening.
Sunday Oliseh’s men were down in the first half as the visitors went two goals up through Vaclav Cerny and Mateo Cassiera in the second and 40th minutes respectively.
In the second half, Fortuna woke from their slumber to power five goals past goalkeeper Norbert Alblas with substitute Djibril Dianessy netting a brace.
Finn Stokkers, Perr Schuurs and Gavin Vlijter were the other goal scorers as Oliseh’s side claimed maximum points.

With this victory, 42-year-old Oliseh boasts of two wins, two draw and one defeat in five games. His side are 16th on the Jupiler league log with 23 points from 24 games.
Fortuna Sittard face seventh place Cambuur in their next game on Friday at the Cambuur Stadium, Leeuwarden.
