A political campaign group, ActivateAtiku has congratulated Alhaji Atiku Abubakar over his victory at the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential primaries.
In a statement, yesterday signed by the National President, ActivateAtiku Group, Amb. Salamat Yusuf said she is confident that with proper strategies, the party would win the 2019 elections.
According to her, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has proven that he is the best man and most popular Nigerian with the vision, strategies and courage to revive and retrieve Nigeria from the wicked and oppressive regime of Buhari and APC.
“With proven records, Atiku Abubakar has demonstrated that he is capable of rewriting the negative story of Nigerians and take it to its rightful position among other nations of the world”.
“His emerging as the flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party is a New Dawn that will usher Nigeria into her rediscovered greatness”.
“Come February 2019, PDP will lead Nigeria to the transformation that we so dearly desire as citizens of this dear country,” she said.
THE STATEMENT
We convey our hearty congratulations to your Excellency, the Former Vice President of Nigeria, Waziri Adamawa, Alh. Atiku Abubakar the People’s Democratic Party Presidential Candidate for the 2019 general elections on your landslide victory recorded in the just concluded party Presidential primaries election.
It is indeed a victory for all Nigerians who have suffered in the hands of the returned DICTATOR and also lovers of true democracy and indeed the good people of Nigeria generally. This is a litmus test for our nascent democracy.
Nigerians are showing we are coming of age and the stage is gradually looking brighter for future elections.
Alh. Atiku Abubakar’s antecedent is attested to by the good people of Nigeria to earn you a well-deserved victory in the 2019 elections.
This will be indeed a lesson and reminder to the Ruling All Progressives Congress to concede defeat and be ready to work with the Atiku led Administration that is poised at making Nigeria work again in all ramifications with people-oriented programs at the grass-root levels to bring about the much-desired catalyst for social and economic development. We, however, urge the OUTGOING PRESIDENT (President Mohammadu Buhari) to be magnanimous in Alh. Atiku Abubakar’s victory and handover peacefully in order for peace to reign without further truncation of our hard earned democracy as currently experienced in his outgoing regime.
We also want to appreciate in advance the INEC official led by Mahmood Yakubu, the security agencies and all those that will ensure peace and orderliness towards the success of this historic election in Nigeria.
