Nigerians are reacting in the social media to the announcement of the portfolio of the Ministers in President Muhammadu Buhari’s new cabinet.
One particular appointment that is currently trending on Twitter Nigeria is that of Adamu Adamu as Minister of Education for a second time.

Adamu Adamu retained as minister of education. I knew this “Ministerial Screening” was just to please Nigerians, it’s just like the BBNaija auditions. #BuhariCabinet

Can Adamu Adamu read?
Does he even understand English?
The country is just going nowhere. The only way for this country to go forward is to call all the leaders and kill them. Corollary of Amechi leaked tape.???????????????? Canada all the way!!— Tech CATALYST™ (@swanky_lala) August 21, 2019
PMB returned Adamu Adamu as Minister for Education. He took out Kachukwu for Timipre Sylva!!!

How can @MBuhari make Adamu Adamu Minister of Education again? This is very disappointing.

What did Adamu Adamu achieve in the last 4 years for him to be retained as Minister of Education? What radical educational policies did he introduce at the basic level or for tertiary education? Why not entrust that VERY IMPORTANT SECTOR to someone else?

And Adamu Adamu, a writer with a background in accounting, and Emeka Nwajiuba, a lawyer with a PhD in law, are Nigeria’s Ministers of Education. Both have no experience in teaching or education administration. But they are members of APC and that counts more than competence.

No right thinking person should have returned Adamu Adamu to handle our education… But then, what do I know? Let me pick my tooth abeg ???????? pic.twitter.com/phpLeN815o

I don’t even send Nigeria again (until these people are out of power). But man, I find myself so angry at this stupid list – what kind of sadist returns Adamu Adamu to education? This is literally the only escape route out of this economic morass and you put Adamu there? Gosh

The man that bragged about revamping 10,000 schools in his second term has reappointed Adamu Adamu as his Minister of Education…the one that brought no tangible impact in the Educational sector in the last 4years.
LMAOA perfect reward for incompetence.

Shame on Mr President. How can Adamu Adamu be reappointed as Education Minister? So all our outrage on Twitter were just meaningless? This is a sad day for Education! #BuhariCabinet #MinisterialInauguration
